A few weeks ago, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor expressed his desire to expand Knotfest to something bigger than just a weekend festival and maybe taking it on the road to spread the experience to those who can’t attend the gig. A few days later, the Knotfest official Facebook page released this video pretty much confirming Taylor’s intention to take the festival abroad and now, we get confirmation of what, when and where will the Mexico edition will happen.

The festival will take place in Toluca this December 5th and the first wave of confirmed bands ready to perform for the Latin American crowd has been confirmed and looks like it will be as great as the US edition about to happen in a few more weeks in San Bernardino, CA this coming October:
