Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

Well, this is certainly heftier than last week. Just like I said it would be. As is common for large debut lists, you’ve got band’s making comebacks, a few EP’s, younger bands trying to keep up the buzz, and Deep Purple cover album by Whitesnake (well, that one’s not so common, but it’s there). Of course, the big kahuna here is arguably the most anticipated album of the year thus far: Sol Invictus from Faith No More. How’d it do? Take a wild guess.
