Relapse Records has announced its latest roster addition, UltraMantis Black, the fruition of pro-wrestler UltraMantis Black. Allegedly tag teaming for the wrestler as backup are former and current members of Pissed Jeans and Pilgrim Fetus.

UltraMantis Black as wrestler is a staple on the “The Spectral Envoy of the Final Judgment” promotion and commentates on matches when not in the ring competing. As for what his music will sound like, Relapse released the following mission statement on their new signing.

UMB seeks to further spread his gospel through a relentless musical assault of hardcore cacophony. His message is a simple declaration of war. A godless jihad against those who continue to systematically enslave, torture, and murder the Earth and all innocent and sentient life that exists upon it. Clear missives of animal, earth, and human liberation delivered under the secretive cloak of lucha libre to the soundtrack of blasting audio terrorism.

Whether the album execution will involve backhand chops, clothesline or full-body presses, fans will have to wait and see. An EP is set for release in early 2014.
