It’s hard to believe twenty years have flown by since Slipknot released their self-titled debut album. They were once most recognized by their orange jumpsuit as high school students would walk into school supporting the band’s attire. While these Iowa metal giants have had a number of transformations, nothing has changed their live energy. Whether you’re a fan of the group’s new masks or prefer older styles, it doesn’t take long to be infected by their live performances. With that being said, Slipknot performed two new songs live for the first time with “Unsainted,” taken from their upcoming album We Are Not Your Kind and the standalone single “All Out Life,” for the taping of last night’s (17th) Jimmy Kimmel Live!. However, only “Unsainted” aired on the program.

A fan who attended the recording, filmed both songs and you can watch the footage below:

Fans are curious to find out who the mysterious percussionist is following the lawsuit with former(?) percussionist, Chris Fehn. There have been a few theories on who is the man behind the percussionist’s mask as Corey Taylor himself shared one.

Check out a few “man behind the mask” theories below:

Slipknot’s new album We Are Not Your Kind will be released on August 9th via Roadrunner. Pre-order the record here.
