Friday’s aren’t always for new albums. It’s also a day filled with video premieres. We’ve been compiling these fresh videos on lists, and now we want to give everyone a chance to vote for their favorite. Check out eight videos that were released today (21st) and take our poll at the bottom voting for your favorite.
01) Wolfheart – “Ashes”
Wolfheart have announced their new album, Wolves of Karelia, will be released on April 10th via Napalm Records (pre-order here). Today (21st) the Finnish melodic death metal outfit has provided a taste of their latest offering by premiering the lyric video for the song “Ashes.”
02) Biff Byford – “Scarborough Fair”
Saxon frontman Biff Byfrod’s debut solo album, School of Hard Knocks has finally arrived! Today, the singer has unveiled a music video for his single “Scarborough Fair.”
03) Irist – “Severed”
Irist have premiered a visualizer for their new song,”Severed.” The track is taken from the Georgia metal outfit’s new album, Order of the Mind, which will be released on March 27th via Nuclear Blast.
Vocalist Rodrigo Carvalho comments:
“‘Severed’ is about transcendence. It is a dark song that talks about detachment from material things and connecting with nature. It’s supernatural vibe contrasts with aggressive elements that make for a moody yet commanding song.”
04) Orinoco – “Weak”
Orinoco, the Joliet, IL deathcore band are gearing up for their sophomore EP, What a Relief, which will be released on March 1st. Today, the group has unleashed a live music video for the song “Weak.”
05) Aether Realm – “Goodbye”
Aether Realm have announced their new album, Redneck Vikings From Hell, which will be released on May 1st via Napalm Records (order here). Today, the North Carolina metal outfit has premiered a video for the first single, “Goodbye.”

“It’s hard to leave people we care about. But something hasn’t felt right for a while. We dance around it and put it off as long as we can; ‘But maybe this time we can change. but maybe this time we’ll make it work’ – sometimes you just know it’s time to say “Goodbye.”
06) Body Count – “Bum-Rush”
Body Count have premiered a video for the song “Bum-Rush.” The track is taken from the group’s new album Carnivore, which will be released on March 6th via Century Media.
07) White Stones – “Drowned In Time”
Opeth bassist Martin Mendez’s new project White Stones have premiered a lyric video for the song “Drowned in Time.” The track is taken from the group’s debut effort, Kuarahy, which will be released on March 13th via Nuclear Blast.
08) Sparta – “Empty Houses”
Sparta (ex-At The Drive-In) have officially returned! The group has premiered a video for the song “Empty Houses.” The track is taken from their new album, Trust the River, which is scheduled to arrive on April 10th via Dine Alone Records.
