Video: Now You Can Know All The Words To The Dillinger Escape Plan’s “Prancer”

Posted by on May 7, 2013

The Dillinger Escape Plan has released a lyric video for “Prancer,” and instead of making a typical  boring lyric video, they’ve created something that could almost stand alone as its own video. It’s frenetic, with lots of jump cuts and movement, much like the song itself. Is this the band’s last album? Probably not, but it starts off with the dictionary definition of “swan song,” stating ‘a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort or performance given just before death of retirement.”‘ And while the description is accompanied by a swan, the last third of the video features shots of a decomposing swan. No word on whether or not any swans were injured in the making of the video.

One of us is the Killer is released on May 14.
