By now, you’ve probably seen video of Axl Rose slipping during Guns N’ Roses’ show in Mexico City. Originally, we weren’t going to cover the fall. We’d prefer to make fun of Axl for things in his control (like making fans wait two hours to see his new GN’R live, stealing Slash’s dates while he’s drunk, or looking like Walter White from Breaking Bad) and not things that could happen to any rock star onstage.

So why are we finally caving in and talking about his fall? Well, it’s not the actual slip we find funny (well, it did crack us up a little), but how much he seems to be milking it. Following the fall, which occurred during “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” both a road crew and guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal offer the singer a hand. Axl, though, turns down their offers, as if so he can prove that he’s not too overweight to pick himself up.

Once hitting the end note of the bridge, Axl gets himself back up to a round of cheers (as if he was an athlete getting back up after a bad tumble). He did it! Axl stood up, good for him! You can watch a fan filmed clip of the fall above.
