Hailing from Harrisburg, PA, metalcore outfit If Not For Me are gearing up for their new album, Eulogy, out February 25th, 2022, via Theoria Records. Produced by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at the legendary Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, Erra, etc.). Today (15th), the group has teamed up with Metal Insider to unveil their new single “Burn.” The track is just a taste of what’s to come, filled with aggression and tenacious breakdowns. At the same time, lyrically, it reminds us all of the possibility that humans could be reaching extinction levels.

Vocalist Patrick Glover explains:

“Burn is about humanity’s crippling carbon footprint on the earth and the inevitable depletion of our natural resources as a direct result of an industrialized society. We are rapidly reaching a tipping point where we’re seeing more and more species reaching extinction levels, whether it be because of deforestation, war, poaching, pollution, etc. It’s not only a problem for us, but for generations to come. And it’s nearly all self-inflicted, and often feels like there’s no turning back.”
