Thy Art is Murder hit the road today with Parkway Drive, Miss May I, and In Hearts Wake, and they just released a lyric video for the song, “Violent Reckoning” from their third album, Holy War. This latest album debuted at #43 when it came out this summer, while they were on this years much-maligned Mayhem Festival Tour.

Thy Art is Murder is already slated to miss two shows on this tour, all due to Disney’s ban on scary metal bands. In response the band made some sweet “Banned in Disney” shirts to celebrate, and issued a statement in repsonse:

“We are very sorry to announce that due to the narrow minded, corporate censoring goons over at Disney, we will be unable to join Parkway Drive on their upcoming dates at Anaheim on October 30th and Orlando Lake Buena Vista on November 23rd. We are aware we haven’t played Florida for quite some time now and we are itching to get back down there and play for you guys.”

To make up for tomorrow’s date the band will be doing an in-store meet and greet at Blackcraft store the day of the show.
