This new Junius is genius

Today, Rolling Stone premiered “The Queen’s Constellation,” a new track from the forthcoming Junius album, Eternal Rituals for the Accretion of Light, which will be out on Prosthetic on March 3. If you’re a Deftones fan and haven’t heard Junius yet, you owe it to yourself to do that now. “The Queen’s Constellation” is a sweeping post-metal masterpiece. The video, which shows snow-swept landscapes, is as majestic and chilly as the music Joseph E. Martinez made. This time, he did the whole album himself after the departure of guitarist Mike Repasch-Nieves.

Eternal Rituals for the Accretion of Light will be out on March 3rd on Prosthetic Records and can be prordered here.

They’ll be playing some shows in support of the album. Here’s where you’ll be able to catch them:

4/17 Boston, MA @ Great Scott
4/18 Baltimore, MD @ Metro Gallery
4/19 Philadelphia, PA @ Kung Fu Necktie
4/20 Kingston, NY @ BSP Lounge
4/21 Pittsburgh, PA @ Black Forge Coffee House
