There must be something in the vegemite in Australia that makes so many good proggy bands originate from there. Along with Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus, new Inside Out signing Caligula’s Horse should definitely be in the conversation. The band’s Bloom will be out on October 30th (October 16th in Europe), but until then, you’ve got a taste of the album via  “Marigold,” which premiered earlier today on Revolver. Here’s what the singer Jim Grey said about the track:

“‘Marigold’ captures the essence of ‘Bloom’ to me. The pure energy and vibrant colour, and the powerful, uplifting message that a person can not be judged by what they earn, or what they own, but by those they love, and those that love them”, says lead vocalist Jim Grey. “In that respect, I am a wealthy, wealthy man. This song is very important to me on a personal level.”

Bloom will be released in North America on October 30th on Inside Out and can be preordered here.
