The Osbournes Podcast made its heartfelt return on Wednesday (12), marking the family’s first episode since the passing of Ozzy Osbourne in July. Sharon, Jack, and Kelly joined for a moving conversation celebrating Ozzy’s life, sharing their reflections and heartfelt stories.
The episode also included behind-the-scenes insights, from a voicemail of condolences left by U.S. President Donald Trump to Ozzy’s previously undisclosed hospitalization just two weeks before his Back to the Beginning tribute concert. The family didn’t shy away from addressing controversies either, calling out Roger Waters for his comments surrounding Ozzy’s death and clearing up false reports about the charity proceeds from the Back to the Beginning event, confirming the concert raised $11 million, not the exaggerated $190 million initially reported.
Sharon later revealed Ozzy had planned to record two collaborations, one for an upcoming Lemmy tribute album and a duet with Disturbed’s David Draiman. These projects never came to fruition due to his health.
