Ok, so there are many possible reasons why Ozzy Osbourne wasn’t at the premiere for his new documentary God Bless Ozzy Osbourne (which was filmed and produced by his son Jack). He may still be on the road finishing up his touring commitments, or hell, maybe he was just too exhausted to walk on a red carpet and play nice with the press. But thanks to Ozzy’s children, Kelly and Jack, speculation about a Black Sabbath reunion has risen again.

When asked where their dad was while on the red carpet of the MusicCares’ special screening on Monday night (22), Jack and Kelly didn’t give a straight answer. “I can neither confirm nor deny who he is with or where he is,” Jack said in response to whether Ozzy was in England with his Black Sabbath mates. Kelly didn’t do much better, saying “My dad is… I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you. But he’s doing something that is very, very exciting. He’s just finished a tour. But he’s doing something very exciting. I’m not allowed to talk about it, though.” You can watch their responses for yourself above in Artisan News’ video report.

Of course, we could all be reading way too much into what Jack and Kelly said. After all, the Black Sabbath rumor mill has been going full steam as of late. However, it’s also not too hard to believe either since Tony Iommi’s statement to “downplay” the rumors didn’t actually deny that he and Ozzy were working on new material.

So at the moment, we’re taking bets as to who in the band will release a statement downplaying these new rumors first (my money is on either Ozzy or Geezer). However, it certainly seems like something is up in the Black Sabbath camp.
