You can practically feel the circle pit forming when listening to this one. Rolling Stone premiered the video for the track ‘Martyrs’, of TDWP’s upcoming album, and it is quite heavy and mosh-inducing. The black and white video was directed by guitarist Jeremy DePoyer and bassist Andy Trick, and has plenty of creepy guys in robes with bird masks doing candlelit rituals in the woods. Watch the video for yourself below.
The band has already released a teaser and a studio update of what will be their fifth album, which we now know is called 8:18. Being that the band is a Christian group, the title probably has something to do with a Bible verse. A quick Google search finds one from Romans 8:18: “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us”. The album is being produced by Adam D of Killswitch Engage, and is being released by their new label home Roadrunner Records on September 17.
