Conan O’Brien is pulling out the big guns for his first week back as a new talk show host. Last night, Soundgarden performed “Black Rain” publicly for the first time on the show. They also performed their first ever single, “Hunted Down,” as a web exclusive. It was great to hear Chris Cornell hitting all the high notes on “Black Rain,” a song originally recorded during the Badmotorfingersessions. And even though Soundgarden have yet to announce anything beyond Telephantasm and the occasional show, they still sound great.
