As we all know by now, Slayer have a new album, Repentless, coming out on September 11. “Implode,” which the band premiered over a year ago, wasn’t a bad song. Neither was “When the Stillness Comes,” but it was kind of a tease, ending as soon as it started to pick up momentum. Today, along with the track listing for the new album and pre-sale going live, the band released a third track via a visualiser video. The title track to Repentless is on sale now, and on first listen, it’s the best of the three.  the “HannemAnthem,” as Kerry King calls it, is a tribute to late guitarist Jeff Hanneman, so it’s “live fast, on high. repentless, let it ride” chorus is both anthemic and a nice way to honor Hanneman. The song is fast, heavy, and probably wouldn’t have been out of place on an earlier album. Meanwhile, here’s the track listing to the album:

01. Delusions Of Saviour
02. Repentless
03. Take Control
04. Vices
05. Cast The First Stone
06. When The Stillness Comes
07. Chasing Death
08. Implode
09. Piano Wire
10. Atrocity Vendor
11. You Against You
12. Pride In Prejudice
Repentless is available for pre-order here, and will be released on 9/11 on Nuclear Blast.
