09) Cvlt Ov The Svn – “We Are The Dragon”

Finnish dark rockers Cvlt Ov The Svn are celebrating the release of their first full length album, We Are The Dragon, out today (7th) via Napalm Records (order here). Earlier this week, the group unveiled a lyric video for the title track.

10) Burning Witches – “The Witch of The North”

BurningWitches have shared a video for the song “The Witch of The North.” The track is the title track of their upcoming album, out May 28th via Nuclear Blast (pre-order here).

The group commented::

“It was a big dream of us, to finally produce a video clip with an acclaimed company like Grupa 13 and a bit of a bigger budget. The title track of the new album was the perfect song to transpose visually, it is not a typical single, it is more of an epic grower. This way we have visually reflected the song for eternity! We hope you will love it as much as we do!”

11) Tetrarch – “Addicted”

This past Friday (30th), we saw the release of the Los Angeles metal outfit Tetrarch’s overall sophomore effort, Unstable. To celebrate the album’s arrival, the group shared a visualizer for the song “Addicted.”

Vocalist/guitarist Josh Fore comments:

“‘Addicted’ is a song about being consumed by something in life that to the outside eye may appear detrimental or dangerous. Even as our world may be spiraling away from us into chaos there’s something that draws us towards our obsessions. ‘Now I can see that the joke is on me’ is that moment of self-awareness: that we cannot escape who we are and that we are stuck in our own addictions.”

12) Subway To Sally – “IX”

Subway To Sally are gearing up for their new live album, Eisheilige Nacht – Back to Lindenpark, out June 18th via Napalm Records (pre-order here). The group has shared a performance video of the Saltatio Mortis song “IX,” featuring both bands. The original song can be found on Saltatio Mortis’ 2013 record, Das Schwarze Einmaleins

Subway To Sally commented:

“We covered ‘IX’ and put it into our very own Subway To Sally version. Our long-time companions from Saltatio Mortis wanted us to cover the song for a bonus CD that’s part of their album Zirkus Zeitgeist (2015). Within a short time, the track became very popular amongst our fans and even pushed a few of our classics out of our streaming top 5 temporarily. After a joint tour playing the track together with Saltatio Mortis, we enjoyed it so much that we decided to keep it in our regular live set for some time. Or in other words: a Saltatio Mortis cover version became part of the Subway To Sally set! I don’t think there can be a better alliance within our scene and so we were really looking forward to performing the song again with our friends at Eisheilige Nacht – Back to Lindenpark.“
