System of a Down vocalist, Serj Tankian is filming a music video for a new single titled, “Rumi” for his solo EP, Elasticity. The material was originally going to be used for a new System of a Down record, but as we all know, that isn’t happening any time soon. The EP is expected out this fall.
“Originally I had these songs in mind for a System record if we were to end up doing a System record. But as we could not really see eye to eye on how to go forward with that I decided to finish them off myself and release them as an EP.”
