New Jersey metal brigade Robots and Monsters, recently released their debut album titled Down to Ash and we can watch the video for the title track below.

The band used to be a light-hearted jokey band called The Llama Project, singing about life in the suburbs and other self-depreciating topics, but in 2013 decided to get into a more serious tone addressing topics like frustrations of life and feelings of total despondency. They’re also huge Star Wars nerds so that should win the hearts of many out there.

You can get the new record right here or catch them at one of the shows they have scheduled for the following dates:

Jul 18 – Brooklyn, NY @Black Bear
Aug 01 – Brooklyn, NY @Saint Vitus Bar
Sep 12 – Hoboken, NJ @Maxwell’s Tavern
Oct 16 – Poughkeepsie, NY @The Chance Theater

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
