Prophets of Rage finish recording second album, promises to release new song this weekend

Posted by on July 5, 2018

It looks like Prophets of Rage have completed working on the follow-up to their debut self-titled album. Before the group’s show on June 30th at the Provinssi in Seinäjoki, Finland, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk were interviewed by Kaaos TV. During their discussion, Commerford revealed the group finished a 13-song record and plan on releasing a new track this Saturday (7th).

The bassist explained:

“As far as I’m concerned, it was a great imprint of us as a band. We made a record, and it was an imprint in time, and we did that. And we’re on to another record now; we’ve already finished a 13-song record that we are just in the process of just putting together at this moment in time. So there’s a lot going on. We have a new song that comes out on July 7th. And it’s on to new territory, new sounds and new music.”
