Washington, DC progressive metal band Periphery has released a full-length documentary about the making of its upcoming album, Periphery IV: Hail Stan. Jeff Holcomb, who played bass on tour for the band from 2011 through 2012, directed the feature.
Periphery IV: Hail Stan is set to hit shelves this Friday (5th). The follow-up to 2016’s Periphery III: Select Difficulty, is the first album the band is releasing through their own 3DOT Recordings label. A video for lead single, “Blood Eagle,” was released in February, while a second single, “Garden In The Bones,” was put out in early March.
After noticing that the album was starting to leak, the band launched a full stream of ‘Hail Stan.’
Periphery is currently on the road as support for Dance Gavin Dance’s Artificial Selection headlining tour along with Don Broco, Hail The Sun and Covet. The band joins them through April 20 in Columbus, OH, after which point Thousand Below will be taking their place. Following that tour, Periphery will head to South America for a string of dates starting June 2.
