Parkway Drive like the sound of violence

Australian metalcore juggernaut, Parkway Drive are about to release their new album Ire this September 25th and have shared with us some of its tracks like “Vice Grips” and “Crushed” but that’s not all. Today they unveiled their newest track, “The Sound of Violence” and is, well, very violent. Vocalist Winston McCall said:

This is the soundtrack of our existence as a band. Every step we have taken has been down a path chosen by no one but ourselves. We write the music we want to hear, we dress the way we want to dress, we look the way we want to look, we go where we want to go and we play the shows we want to play. Our whole existence we have done things our way in the face of a chorus of voices and opinions telling us that it’s wrong and that we don’t belong. This is our answer, plain and simple.

The band will travel across North America in company of their country-mates Thy Art is Murder, Miss May I, and In Hearts Wake. Check the list of the confirmed dates below and get some of that Aussie metalcore fix if it happens to stop at your city:
