Many artists have covered at least one Nirvana track in their career. We have heard unique takes over the years including Tori Amos’ dramatic spin on “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” The iconic grunge tune is known for it’s minor key angst and rebellious attitude, and no one would consider it uplifting. Until now.

Sleep Good, a psychedelic pop band from Austin, TX, decided to give this track a makeover by removing the gloom and grit by replacing it with a major key, pop-punky Blink-182-esque beat. They also renamed the song to “Teen Sprite.” It sounds a little more like Bettter Than Ezra than Seattle’s grunge standard-bearers
