Nine Inch Nails have released “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” the first single from the upcoming Tron: Ares soundtrack, scheduled to arrive on September 19 via Interscope Records. The track marks the band’s first new material in five years and also serves as their first official film score, despite Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ award-winning work under their own names. Described as a boundary-pushing, orchestra-free score, the album will accompany Tron: Ares, which hits theaters October 10 and starring Jared Leto and Jeff Bridges.
