Music Video Premiere: I Survived “Cityseeker”

Posted by on February 19, 2019

The San Antonio post-hardcore outfit I Survived have been introducing their compelling sound as they’ve released two singles with “Bandit” and “Hollow.” The group maintains a positive outlook as they deliver a heavy and yet emotive style with metalcore elements. Musically, their songs flow naturally with dynamic riffs and catchy instrumentations. Today (19th), the band has premiered a music video for their third single “Cityseeker.”

Frontman Danny Fairchild commented on the song:

“‘Cityseeker’ is a song about the duality of life and how change creates it; realizing the things you once were in love with may not be what they seem, but in the same breath you realize you might not be the person you thought you were when you once loved them. Reflections can lie to you, but on the other hand, also show what lay inside you and the depth of one’s dreams and desires and whether or not they still speak to the person that you are today“
