This week wraps around a cover tune, while calling in a few experiments. Then again, we did see Royal Thunder’s video for “The Sinking Chair.” Here are five unique music videos that were released this week.

5) Karma Zero “Blind”

The french deathcore/metalcore outfit Karma Zero premiered a video of KoRn’s “Blind.” Instead of mocking the band’s sound, the group gave the song their own original spin.

4) BardSpec, “Fire Tongue”

Enslaved composer/guitarist Ivar Bjørnson shared a new experimental/trippy side in his new ambient project BardSpec. This week he shared the hypnotic video for “Fire Tongue” taken from the upcoming debut album Hydrogen out in June via Norse.

3) Vamps – “Calling”

Japanese rockers Vamps unveiled the new video for “Calling” taken from their forthcoming album Underworld out April 28 via Eleven Seven Music.

2) God Dethroned, “The World Ablaze”

The Dutch death metal outfit God Dethroned will release their new album The World Ablaze on May 5th via Metal Blade Records. Today they premiered the title track of the album.  The band made the following comment on the upcoming release:

“‘The World Ablaze’ is our final album in the WWI trilogy. We aimed to create an album that is very dynamic and diverse. It contains typical GD riffing with loads of melodies and catchy hooks. The songs are perfect for our live shows as they contain many mid-tempo parts combined with faster and more brutal parts. Diversity to the max! Dan Swano mixed the album in his typical fashion but without robbing the band of its own identity. Mastering was handled at the Wisseloord Studios where they also mastered albums for bands like Rammstein, among many others, and they put the icing on the cake. The album sounds crystal clear and heavy as fuck at the same time.”

1) Igorrr, “ieuD”

The French project Igorr unveiled a compelling video for the song “ieuD” for their upcoming album Savage Sinusoid out June 16th via Metal Blade Records.
