Remember when Metallica played the Grammys with Lady Gaga and James Hetfield’s mic cut out? Of course you do. We’ve written about it every day since Sunday right when it happened. We also have written pretty extensively about Megadeth winning the Best Metal Performance Grammy and the band serenading them with Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.” Lame, right? Well, if you thought we were done talking about “Master of Puppets” and the Grammys, you’re dead wrong.

Last night on The Late Late Show With James Corden, the show took a fun look behind the scenes with the host’s parents, Malcolm and Margaret. The highlight shows them asking Metallica to play a little something for their 45th anniversary. They respond with an unplugged chorus of “Master of Puppets.” Yet even though it’s basically a capella, It somehow sounds better than the house band’s version when Megadeth accepted.
