The 2022 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction ceremony took place this past weekend on Saturday, November 5th, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Judas Priest were there to receive the Musical Excellence Award, which also honored Eminem, Dolly Parton, Duran Duran, Lionel Richie, Pat Benatar, Eurythmic, and Carly Simon in the Performers category. These metal gods were inducted into the Rock Hall by the legendary Alice Cooper, which you can see in the introduction video below:
The Judas Priest members that got inducted included current members Rob Halford (vocals), Ian Hill (bass), Glenn Tipton (guitar), and Scott Travis (drums), as well as former members K.K. Downing (guitar), Les Binks (drums), and late drummer Dave Holland. During the ceremony, Halford, Hill, Tipton, and Travis were seen reunited with Binks and Downing, along with current guitarist Richie Faulkner for a three-song medley, “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,” “Breaking The Law,” and “Living After Midnight.”
Halford joined country vocalist Dolly Parton on stage to perform her classic track “Jolene” as a finale track with other artists, including Pat Benatar, Annie Lennox, and Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon.
