Killswitch Engage got a little bit of a career boost about a decade ago when they covered Dio’s “Holy Diver.” It was loyal enough to the original as to not to offend old school metalheads, came with a fun video, and was a song that just about everyone knew. Fast forward to 2017, and Killswitch is still super popular, and on the road with Anthrax for the much-ballyhooed Killthrax tour. We caught up with Anthrax before their show in Philly, and while he didn’t mention it during the interview, later that evening, Joey Belladonna would join Killswitch onstage to cover the song.
