Edge of Paradise have recently announced their sixth studio album, Prophecy, is scheduled to arrive on March 7th via Napalm Records. The album explores the existential crisis of “The Singularity,” the moment humanity potentially loses control to artificial intelligence.
Co-produced by Mike Plotnikoff (Nita Strauss, Three Days Grace) and mixed/mastered by Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Arch Enemy), Prophecy features the band’s heaviest sound yet. Alongside the initial announcement, Edge of Paradise released a video for the lead single, “Death Note.” The band will join Delain on their North American headline tour this March, alongside with Xandria, see all stops here.
Vocalist Margarita Monet comments:
“Death Note’ is an intense battle for identity and connection, powered by soaring melodies and an aggressive sound. In a world where digital forces aim to seize control, and greed and conquest have dehumanized existence and stripped away individuality, two souls stand in defiance. Together, they fight to preserve the essence of being alive. Bound by loyalty, determination and human spirit, they risk everything to stand united against the rising tide of control to reclaim what it means to be truly human.”
