California’s Holy Grail create power metal so epic that you’ll want to drink mead and ride forth into battle on a mighty steed after listening to it. The band’s third album, Times of Pride and Peril, will be released next Friday (12) on Prosthetic Records. To get people further excited for the album, they’ve released a lyric video for “Descent Into the Maelstrom” via Metal Sucks. While the band’s epic thrashy power-metal conjures up images of Renaissance Fair-like behavior, the lyric video is more futuristic in nature.

Times of Pride and Peril will be out on Prosthetic Records on February 12th. It can be preordered here. And on the eve of the big game, remember back to the time when the band made it into a Super Bowl ad a few years back.
