Henget, a new progressive black metal band formed by Jesse J. Heikkinen and King Aleijster de Satan, has announced the release of their debut album, Beyond North Star, out May 18th via Season of Mist. The album takes inspiration from ancient shamanism and the occult, exploring a psychedelic journey to the depths of the mind. To accompany the reveal, the band has released a trippy and disturbing music video for their first single, “I Am Them,” created by King Aleijster de Satan. Jesse Heikkinen recorded most of the music in his own studio using primarily vintage instrumentation. Beyond North Star consists of eight tracks, inviting the listeners into a colorful and otherworldly place with a dangerous and scary atmosphere.
