“[…] and I saw two guys out front, and that might just be the most awful thing ever, them just relentlessly shooting into the audience.” That’s part of what Eagles of Death Metal revealed during their very first interview after the incident at Le Bataclan in Paris  earlier this month where the band was playing before a terrorist attack took place, leaving almost 90 people dead.

VICE, who have worked closely with the band before, reached out to them to get an interview detailing their perspective during the incident. The whole recollection is just terrifying to picture at the level of detail the band explains, like how they were all trapped inside a room waiting for the whole ordeal to be over; how they were able to run out of the venue; and even how frontman Jesse Hughes decided to look for his girlfriend Tuesday Cross.
