Next Wednesday (21) is the first day of Winter, and the shortest day of the year. However, Demon Hunter isn’t waiting that long to release a new song that could become a Winter anthem, or at least something to be included on a playlist about the season. “Dead Winter Sun,” taken from their forthcoming album Outlive, is a heavy, riffy, song with a catchy chorus. The band’s lyric video is somewhat dark, showing scenes of decay in a house and photos of nature that look like they were shot on a bleak winter afternoon. The video is kind of hypnotic, even though not much happens in it.
Outlive will be out in March.
