Deftones premiere “Prayers/Triangles” at intimate Amoeba Records show

deftones 306On Friday, Deftones released Gore, their eighth album. And while Record Store Day isn’t until this Saturday, the band played an intimate six-song set last night at Hollywood’s Amoeba Records for fans that pre-ordered the album. The set features the live debuts of “Rubicon” and single “Hearts/Wires.” Fans expecting to hear any old stuff might have left disappointed, as they reached back only to Diamond EyesYet it’s hard to imagine any of the die-hards packed into the record store being disappointed at a chance to see the band play in such a small setting.

Deftones will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight.
