In addition to all the music, there was a wrestling element at this weekend’s Aftershock festival. And while we assumed that known metalhead and WWE star Baron Corbin might get involved with some of the bands, we wouldn’t have assumed that it would be with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. Clown maybe, but not a costume-less Taylor. Apparently, the two had been battling on Twitter, and it boiled over into real life during his match, with Corbin emphatically stating “Slipknot ain’t nobody in my house,” before jabbing Taylor, who he towers over, in the chest. The singer thought about it for a second, then slapped him in the face. Staged? Probably. Pretty awesome anyway? Indeed. Corbin went on to lose the match, and Slipknot went on to thrill thousands of people later that night.
