Nothing stops Zakk Wylde. After spending the last few years on the road with Pantera, Black Label Society have returned with a brand-new track, “Broken and Blind,” via MNRK Heavy/Spinefarm. According to Wylde, the song plays with metaphor, using something as simple as running out of peanut butter (or “pherpas”) to capture the frustrations we all face, a fun, play-on-words reminder that music can turn any “fill in the blank” struggle into something relatable. Accompanied by a Justin Reich-directed video, the track marks the band’s third release leading up to their 2026 album, a follow-up to 2021’s Doom Crew Inc.
Wylde comments:
“What’s going on gang? This is Zakk Wylde of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. This is a new song called ‘Broken And Blind’. The song is about peanut butter and chocolate and what happens when you don’t have any of it. My soul is broken and I’m blind with rage if I don’t have any peanut butter and chocolate, so there you go, it’s a new song called ‘Broken And Blind’. Thank you, have a great day.”
