August Burns Red is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their fourth album Leveler by re-recording the entire album with special guests, brand new guitar solos, alternate tunings, and more. The latest single, “Pangaea” features a familiar face in Periphery’s Misha “Bulb” Mansoor. The anniversary edition was produced, mixed, and mastered by Carson Slovak (Polaris, Candlebox, Lorna Shore) and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio. The vinyl was mastered by the prolific Will Putney (Fit For An Autopsy, END).

Frontman JB Brubaker revealed that “Pangaea” is his favorite track on Leveler and explained why he chose to have Misha guest on the track.

“‘Pangaea’ has always been one of my favorite tracks on ‘Leveler’. It may be the most progressive song on the album so it felt like a natural fit to have Misha from Periphery perform on the track. He delivered quite possibly the most head-spinning guitar solo that we’ve ever had on an ABR song. We’re very excited to share this new version of ‘Pangaea’ with everyone, and think fans are going to appreciate the song on a whole new level.”

The band will also be performing Leveler in it’s entirety, with an encore of songs from 2009’s Constellations, during their next livestream on Saturday, May 22 at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Luckily, it will be available 48 hours afterwards, so you can watch at your leisure. The band also spoke about taking their production to another level, so you don’t want to miss it. Along with tickets, you can find exclusive and limited merch bundles here.

The 10th Anniversary of Leveler drops May 21st independently via ABR Records. Pre-order it NOW!
