August Burns Red love the holidays. Not only have they done Christmas covers before, they actually made a whole album a few years back. That doesn’t seem to have stopped them, however, as they just released another new holiday track, their take on “What Child Is This (Greensleeves).” Here’s what guitarist J.D. Brubaker says of the cover, which premiered today on Revolver:

“In keeping with our annual tradition we are pleased to announce the release of this year’s Christmas song, ‘What Child Is This (Greensleeves).’ This song has a bit of a black metal flavor, but takes a turn in the middle. We always have fun writing and recording the holiday songs and we hope you like it too.”
