It’s been a few weeks since we heard the last rumor, update or news regarding that new Tool album we’ve been expecting for the past decade (that’s 3812 days since 10,000 days) and we’re not sure if we’re anywhere near on getting it soon. But according to Tool’s bassist Justin Chancellor, the album is coming soon.

During a recent interview with Top Guitar, Chancellor was asked about the progress on Tool’s anticipated new album to which he simply replied:

“Don’t ask that question… Just trust me that it’s going to be awesome. It’s in the oven. It’s cooking, it’s cooking.”

It’s obvious that every single member of Tool is sick and tired of hearing the same question from every single journalist or fan out there. Hell, people are getting sick and tired of asking the same question every chance they get, but it’s almost comedic to speak about the new album when it’s been said to be in the works for this long.

You can watch the rest of the interview down below, or you can watch this super old 90’s footage of Tool back when they were still recording albums and not breaking your heart with empty promises.
