Since the announcement of Guns N’ Roses’ reunion shows a few months ago, everyone has been going crazy trying to figure out who’s going to be part of it aside from Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. The last thing we knew was that the other roles were going to be filled by current Guns N’ Roses members Frank Ferrer, guitarist Richard Fortus and keyboardist Dizzy Reed with some speculation about Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler doing some guest appearances.
Last week, another hint came to light when this autographed drum head appeared during an auction, confirming the first information regarding not having Stradlin or Adler in the lineup, but not denying the second bit about their guest spots during those shows, but now, thanks to a post fromy Hollywood’s Whisky A Go Go, we have a better idea the involvement of at least one of the original lineup.
The venue announced the cancellation of Steven Adler’s show scheduled for April 1st but also added another bit of information that basically hints that Adler will be somehow part of the reunion:

The show wasn’t really conflicting with any of the scheduled Guns N’ Roses dates confirmed so far, but there might be some logistics involved that require Adler’s full attention before GN’R take up their first show at Las Vegas, NV on April 9th. Considering that Ferrer was confirmed to be part of the small reunion run, we can assume Adler will just do some guest appearances as previously thought, leaving now Stradlin as the only original member left out of the reunion, as he previously confirmed to Rolling Stone. But who knows, considering Adler just made a last minute cancellation, it’s not out of the realm of impossibility to assume something like that could happen with Stradlin.
