Black Sabbath are currently out on the final leg of touring in support of 13, so it’s about time for people to wonder what the band is going to do when said touring is complete. Is a follow-up to 13 possible? If so, Ozzy is apparently up for it:

“Everybody asks me if there’s going to be a follow-up to 13. And all I can say is, ‘I never say never anymore.’ I don’t want to say, ‘Yeah, we’re never going to do another album,’ because if everybody agrees and we don’t take 500 years again to make another album, I’m up for it. I wouldn’t mind doing another Sabbath album.”

Some fans might be hoping for a new Sabbath album so that the band can have another chance to record with original drummer Bill Ward. Whether or not Ward will ever play with the band again is unclear, but Tony Iommi seems hopeful that he will. When recently asked about Ward, Iommi responded:

“I don’t know. Funnily enough, I had an email off Bill a few days ago. It’s a shame he didn’t want to do it at that time. No one was more upset than us. We wanted him to do it, but we had to carry on. Otherwise we’d still be waiting now. It threw us, we were shocked. But who knows, one day we may play together.”

Whatever you might think of 13, we’re sure many fans would be up for another Sabbath album especially if Bill Ward finally came aboard.
