Killswitch Engage’s Adam Dutkiewicz was the latest guest on the “Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall” podcast and spoke about the upcoming Times of Grace record. The guitarist mentioned that he’s been working on the album whenever he’s had the chance and that five or six songs are near completion. Adam is hoping for an end of year release.

“We are working on it right now,” he said. “It’s been tough working on it, because we’ve been pulled between so many things, in between tours, now that the [new Killswitch Engage] record’s coming out. But I have been in the midst of working on it for, God, like years now, and it’s just finding the time to get it done. I’ve got about five or six songs pretty much almost finished, but I’m waiting on Jesse, wanting to talk to him more about some vocal parts. I don’t feel like singing the whole thing myself, because I think my voice sounds like dick. I wanna make sure I give Jesse a big part of the record. And once again, having him find time to do it as well has been pretty tough. So, we’re getting there. I’m hoping by the end of this year it’ll be completed. We’ll see.”

A couple of weeks ago, vocalist Jesse Leach posted on social media about tracking vocals for the record and how it will take a different direction than the debut.

Also on the to do list! Continuing to track vocals for the long anticipated follow up to this emotive beast of an album. @times_of_grace_music has been slowly making progress and will continue to track vocals in hope to finish our album before the end of 2019! Adam is quite anxious to wrap it up and I feel in my soul it must be done soon! It will be quite different than the last album and we are all very excited with the direction it has taken! . Thank you for your patience it will be worth it! #TimesOfGrace
