Last month, Mastodon revealed they had an “abundance of music” and were ready to record a second album if the pandemic persists. Now the band has announced that producer David Bottrill (Tool, Staind) will be joining them in the studio. The 8th studio album is scheduled to be recorded at West End Sound, which is located inside of Ember City, the rehearsal facility that members of Mastodon manage in Atlanta.
