Iron Maiden are currently on their Legacy of the Beast North American trek and at their most recent show, they were paid a visit by a popular couple: actress Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban. The country star posted his excitement about seeing the band perform via social media:

To the entire @ironmaiden team-
where do i begin?……. You were ALL beyond hospitable- and quite honestly it was a surreal dream come true for me (us) to meet you guys- AND then when u hit the stage….???- HOLY SHIT…… I told Nic “you wanna see THE MASTERS?- here they are”… and you delivered a fucking ATOMIC EXPLOSION of EVERYTHING that makes you THE GREATEST. The playing- the arrangements- the set list- the sound, the lighting- EDDY!!!!- and BRUUUUUUUUCE- good God man- you’re super human.

In other Iron Maiden news, the band has announced the Halloween release of collectible Eddie figures later this year. One figure is based off of Maiden’s 1992 album Fear Of The Dark and will be 6-inches tall. The second figure of the pair is Cyborg Eddie from the 1986 classic, Somewhere In Time and will include “a dystopian world base, and packaged in a diorama style window box.”

Both figures will be released on Halloween and are available to pre-order here.

To top it all off, you can now purchase latex Eddie masks too! Backstreetmerch.com now has the four below available:

  • Piece Of Mind Eddie
  • Powerslave Cover Eddie
  • Powerslave Mummy Eddie
  • Somewhere In Time Eddie

Each mask was sculpted by Erich Lubatti and every detail of Eddie is captured within these amazing latex masks.
