According to a leaked admat for the August 9th Las Vegas stop of this year’s Vans Warped Tour, the lineup has been revealed, and amid a handful of heritage bands like Less Than Jake, Yellowcard and New Found Glory, there are some metal names to be found as well. Whitechapel, Chelsea Grin, Veil of Maya, Cane Hill and Every Time I Die are on the list. Last year, Warped found itself embroiled in almost as much controversy as the Mayhem Fest. Slaves were voted off the tour following allegations of sexual harassment from singer Jonny Craig, and Kevin Lyman got some flack for allowing Front Porch Step to perform on a date after he was removed from the tour for inappropriately sexting underage girls. While Lyman said there would be an age restriction on this year’s tour, it’s not certain if that’s being enforced, and there are still plenty of younger bands performing on the tour.
The official unveiling of this year’s Warped Tour will take place as part of a live webcast on vanswarpedtour.com tomorrow (22) at 6pmEST.
UPDATE: While many of the bands below are confirmed, others including Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Pepper, 3OH!3, Volumes and Silent Planet are also on the bill, which was officially announced earlier today.
