If you’re a regular reader of New York-based metal blogs, you’ve probably heard about Moon Tooth and Godmaker. Now many of you across the rest of the country will get to see them, as the bands will be hitting the road for a U.S. tour starting next week. Long Island’s Moon Tooth made it to SXSW this year, touring behind their Freaks EP, which has seen them play locally with The Dillinger Escape Plan, GWAR and Mutoid Man, among others. Brooklyn’s Godmaker have had a relatively quiet summer following the release of their self-titled LP (on Aqualamb/Dullest Records) and 100 page book last year. Having shared the stage with Candiria, Floor and Black Cobra, the ‘very, very loud’ band now has a vinyl release in the works to be released in early 2016. They’ve promised that aside from Moon Tooth, there will be many other amazing bands and friends jumping on the tour #becauseloud
