When Tool takes to the road next month, they’ll continue with their trend of having great openers. We’d reported that Intronaut was leaked as an opener earlier this week, and it looks like that’s confirmed. However, they’ll also be joined by Yob for the second half of the tour. Both of these acts are perfect openers. They’ve got cred, and metal fans will like them, but they’re not mass-appeal enough to appeal to the meathead contingency of Tool fans that Maynard sang about in “Hooker With a Penis.” The dates are as follows:
