A few weeks ago, Slipknot announced that they were going to take a break for a couple of years after their current touring cycle from basically everything to focus on different things like Corey Taylor’s many side projects, Shawn Crahan’s directorial endeavors or simply writing music . If you expected them to do just one last tour before that happens, you are a very smart person.
The band just announced a new headlining tour for this fall, with the support of Suicidal Tendencies and Beartooth starting this October 13th. which will culminate at their own Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA. The tour will work as a continuation of their current summer tour with Lamb of God, Motionless in White, and Bullet for My Valentine which kicked off last week, giving the chance to those who weren’t part of the first trek to catch the band.
