Well, the cat’s out of the bag. Anyone that’s checked out our banner ads today will see that Rammstein have announced a string of shows in North America to take place in May. As you’ll probably remember, the band played their first show in America in a decade back in December, and it ranked as one of the best live shows we’d seen in a long time. It seemed like the Madison Square Garden show was a test to see what America’s appetite was for the band, and with the Garden selling out in half an hour and people flying in from all over the country for the show, it proved there was definitely an appetite to see the German industrial metal juggernaut. Now America and Canada will get to see the band. Starting in New York, the tour ends in Vegas, which is a perfect setting for the band’s pyro-heavy, effects-laden performance. The only ones getting shafted on this run is anyone in the South and Texas. The preseale starts on February  25th and 26th, and the dates are as follows:

5/5 New York (East Rutherford) – Izod Center
5/7 Montreal – Bell Centre
5/8 Toronto – Air Canada Centre
5/10  Chicago (Rosemont) – Allstate Arena
5/13 Edmonton – Rexall Palace
5/15 Seattle (Tacoma) – Tacoma Dome
5/18 San Francisco (Oakland) – Oracle Arena
5/20 Los Angeles – The Forum
5/21 Las Vegas – Thomas & Mack Center
